Fall Family Pictures

Here they are. We had our fall pictures taken a few weeks ago. We hadn't had any family pictures taken in over 1 1/2 years, so it was time we had some more taken. There are a lot of pics, so no captions yet. Just wanted to get them uploaded so family could see.

Luke Riding the Bus to School......Take 2.

Here comes the bus. Luke is so excited.

"Whoa mom. I think I changed my mind."

Luke's bus came right on time this morning at 7:10. He said that he was excited to ride the bus and he was.....until he walked up to it and the doors flung open. Then he lost it. Daddy had to carry him and put him in his carseat on the bus. He was crying, but not hysterical, so it could have been worse. Maybe he'll be more excited tomorrow.

Luke's 1st day of school was a little more dramatic. Luke starts full days of preschool at Bonsack Elementary today. He only did 1/2 days last year, but his teacher felt he was ready for full days this year. We arranged for him to ride the bus in the morning and he was very excited about riding the school bus. The bus driver called us saturday to clarify address and pick up time and it seemed like they were talking about another child. We gave her the correct information and she said she'd be by to pick him up tuesday morning between 7:05 and 7:15. We watched Blake get on the bus and then we waited patiently for Luke's bus. 7:15 came and went and by 7:30 we figured the bus wasn't coming. I drove him to school and we'll try the bus thing again tomorrow morning, take pictures, and pretend like it's the 1st day.
