Blake is Crawling!!!

I was shocked to see Blake crawl across the floor to me when I picked him up from daycare today. As soon as we got home he started crawling all over the living room. I guess we'd better finish babyproofing the house in a hurry.

Blake and I met the girls from work for lunch at Applebee's today. He was very good the entire time. Everyone enjoyed seeing Blake and how much he had grown recently.

Tonight was the Hidden Valley JV Baseball banquet. We had it at BackCreek Grill. This was the conclusion to the JV season. They finished 13-7. Kevin prepared a powerpoint photo presentation and the coaches handed out awards.

Eating Puffs!

After many unsuccessful attempts to get Blake to eat puffs we finally had success today. Blake finally figured out how to "chew" or "gum" the puffs without gagging on them. Once he discovered this he could not get enough puffs.

Watching the Race with Daddy

Kevin and Blake watched the Coca Cola 600 Sunday evening. Blake has finally grown into his Tony Stewart onsie, so he wore this during the race. Unfortunately, Tony didn't win the race.

Mother's Day/Blake's Dedication

Blake was dedicated at church today. We got a certificate with his name, the meaning and a bible verse on it. Blake means: One who brings harmony. The verse that was given to him was: "Live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble." 1 Peter 3:8. Our families came to Roanoke to be with us for this happy occasion and to celebrate Mother's Day.
